Covid-19 to cause more deaths this year than 2020

The covid-19 is expected to kill more people in 2021 than it did in 2020, according to BloombergOpinion.

The report’s prediction is based on the surge in covid-19 deaths and cases in India.

261,500 new infections were recorded on Sunday in India, However, the overall positive cases have been reached to 1.37 billion in the country.

India’s condition has been reported to be similiar as United States (US) condition during December and January.

According to the statistics, more than 1.5 million people reportedly died globally due to covid-19 in 2020 within the time period of nine months. Whereas, the death toll has been reached to more than 1 million within four months only.

Hence, the 1.2 million people who’ve died from Covid so far this year already represent about two-thirds of the 1.8 million fatalities in 2020.
