 COVID-19 spike: 5,499 new cases, 148 more deaths reported

Pakistan has reported 5,499 positive cases of covid-19 with 148 deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).

Total 47,301 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours as the positivity percentage was measured at 11.62%.

Deaths : 148

Moreover, there are total  5,488 new recoveries in the country.

Pakistan is alarmingly facing the third wave of the coronavirus and it has so far reported 772,381 confirmed cases and 16,600 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
