 COVID-19 spike: 5,234 new cases, 83 more deaths reported

Pakistan has reported 5,234 new positive cases of coronavirus with 83 new deaths across the country in the past 24 hours, according to National Command and Operation Center (NCOC).

Total 50,170 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours as the positivity percentage was measured at 10.4%.

Meanwhile there are total 56,347 active cases in the country with 1,931 new recoveries.

Pakistan is alarmingly facing the third wave of the coronavirus and it has so far reported 678,165 confirmed cases and 14,613 deaths during the pandemic.
