COVID-19 spike: 4,525 new cases, 41 more deaths reported

Pakistan has reported 4,525 new positive cases of coronavirus with 41 new deaths across the country in the past 24 hours, according to National Command and Operation Center (NCOC).

Total  40,369 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours as positivity percentage was measured at 11.2%.

Meanwhile there are total 46,663 active cases in the country with 2,268 new recoveries.

Pakistan is alarmingly facing the third wave of the coronavirus as it has so far reported 659,116 confirmed cases and 14,256 deaths during the pandemic.
