COVID-19: Pakistan reports 1 death, 113 new positive cases

Covid-19 is making resurgence as Pakistan has reported 113 new cases and a death in last 24 hours as positivity ratio recorded at 1.2 percent.
Corona virus has re-emerged in the country, with the highest rate of Corona recorded at 8.04% in Karachi.
The NIH said that 9,406 tests were carried out in 24 hours, out of which 113 new cases came to light. The condition of 58 patients was critical.
The rate of corona cases in the country was recorded at 1.20% in 24 hours, while the highest rate of corona was recorded in Karachi at 8.04%.
The daily positive cases rate in KP was 0.51 percent, in Punjab it was 0.50 percent while in Islamabad the daily rate of Corona positive case was 2.06 percent and 1.25 percent in Peshawar.
The daily corona positive cases rate in Lahore was 1.37%, Bahawalpur 0.60%, Faisalabad 0.65%.
Yesterday, the sources of the National Institute of Health had said that the cases of sub-variants b4 and b5 variants of Omicron are continuously being reported in different cities of the country.
Sources said that the spread of b4, b5 is fast but is not more deadly and all available vaccines to prevent corona are effective against these variants.
