Islamabad court grants two-day physical remand of Shahbaz Gill again
A Local court in Islamabad on Monday granted police two-day physical remand of Imran Khan’s Chief of Staff Shahbaz Gill in a sedition case filed against him, after reviewing his medical report.
Earlier, The court had ordered Police to produce Shahbaz Gill by 12:30 pm today, upon which the police produced the PTI leader in the court.
Police draped Shahbaz Gill in White Cloth whilst being transported from PIMS hospital to court.
While giving a statement in the court, Shahbaz Gill said that: “SP Naushirwan brought me and said that you have been granted bail, he showed me the screenshot.
Shahbaz Gill said that since last night I am on hunger strike, no one is allowed to meet me, last night 12 servants came to my room, caught me and fed me bananas and gave me juice.
He further said that at 3 o’clock in the night, 6 to 7 people came, they tried to feed me, they tied me up and shaved my face.
The judge remarked that this does not mean you should go on hunger strike, it is good that your health has improved.
Gill is completely fine
Ahead of the resumption of the hearing, sources said that Gill was complaining about chest pain but that he was discharged from PIMS hospital.
They quoted doctors as saying that Gill is completely fine and he doesn’t have breathing issues either.
It may be noted that Gill had been complaining of having breathing issues and has undergone several medical tests and multiple examinations.
Later, the police left for the court with Shahbaz Gill in a car with tinted glass.
Meanwhile, irrelevant people were barred from entering the courtroom.
