Court rejects plea to reopen Lahore’s parks on Eid

A plea to open parks and other public spaces on Eid was turned down by the Lahore High Court on Thursday.
Chief Justice Qasim Khan asked the petitioner if he wanted a children’s killing licence.
He said a case on the coronavirus was currently being heard by the Supreme Court.
The lockdown due to the virus is quick, but there are still many public spaces closed. The Supreme Court directed the provinces to reopen shopping centers, and also restored public transit in several provinces.
