Court ends protection, Pakistan sugar mills will now be investigated
Supreme court on Tuesday has ordered that the authorities can continue their investigation against the sugar mills.
Earlier a two-member bench, comprising Justice Omar Sial and Justice Zulfiqar Ali Sangi, of the Sindh High Court ruled granted stay order for 12 mills. The order provided them protection from the inquiry.
The government and its institutions shall continue their investigation according to the law, declared the Supreme court when a three-member bench took up the case on Tuesday.
