Researchers at University of Edinburgh’s School of Engineering have found that the worldwide fatalities because of coronavirus can be cut by 0.4 million a year if covering of face is taken seriously.
The fresh study was conducted by the researchers in fluid dynamics, which revealed that one could be protected against corona droplets up to 99.9 percent if mask is worn by him and people around him.
The study was conducted in a lab with mechanical mannequins and humans. It disclosed that one has 10,000 times more chances of getting affected by the virus, when he doesn’t wear mask, even if he is standing at two meters’ distance from a coughing man, while one will not be at much risk, when he wears a mask, from even a distance of 50 centimeters.
More than 79.8 million people have contracted the disease globally, while about 1.75 million people have died from it.
According to the latest data shared by the National Command and Operation Center, 63 more people died of Coronavirus in the country during the last twenty-four hours. 2,260 people tested covid positive during this period after tests of 36,909 people.
The figure of active Covid cases in the country is 39,177 while 420,489 people have been recovered from the virus.
