Pakistan’s COVID-19 death toll has crossed 12,000-mark following 59 new deaths and 1,037 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.
According to National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), during the last 24 hours 32,149 tests were conducted countrywide, out of which 1,037 results came positive.
Sindh is the most affected province in the country with highest daily tally of the COVID-19 cases.
With total 555,511 confirmed cases, 251,047 have been reported in Sindh so far followed by Punjab (160,935), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (68,531), Islamabad (41,994), Balochistan (18,869) and more than 14,000 cases in Giligit-Balistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir collectively.
Furthermore, there are around 32,000 active COVID-19 cases across the country. Meanwhile 1,260 infected people have been recovered in the last 24 hours.
