Coronavirus: 66 killed, 4,601 infected in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in the country has soared to 4, 601 on Friday morning.
According to the National Command and Operation Center, 2279 cases are in Punjab, 1128 in Sindh, 620 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 219 in Balochistan, 215 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 107 in Islamabad Capital Territory and 33 in Azad Kashmir.

727 people have so far recovered from the virus whilst the death toll stands at 66.
Addressing a news conference at Governor House in Quetta on Apr 9, Prime Minister Imran Khan had called upon the nation to join hands with the government in war against coronavirus as it was the issue of entire country.
Imran Khan had said his visit to Balochistan was aimed at ascertaining the grievances and problems being faced by the masses of the most backward and poor people in the province.
The prime minister had maintained that he came here to extend cooperation to the Balochistan government in providing maximum relief during the lockdown.
He had said the federal government would provide financial assistance to more than one hundred million lock down stricken people across the country.
The PM had said the Federal government was constantly in contact with all the provincial governments to combat with the Coronavirus emergency situation.
