 Corona cases continue to rise, new guidelines issued for schools

ISLAMABAD: The NCOC has decided to close educational institutions with high rates of corona virus for a week. 

According to details, the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has decided, corona tests will be conducted in educational institutions in cities affected by Omicron variant to determine the effects of the epidemic. 

According to the NCOC, the data showed a link between vaccination levels and infection rates.  

Provincial governments will decide to close educational institutions in consultation with health and education department officials, and a special campaign will be launched for vaccination in all educational institutions. 

The NCOC has directed that 100% vaccination be ensured for students above 12 years of age.
