“Congratulations to Pakistan film industry for Maula Jatt”: Ranbir Kapoor

Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor lauded the Pakistan film industry for producing the mega-hit “The Legend of Maula Jatt”.

From Shahrukh Khan to Mahira Khan, many big names from Pakistan and the Indian film industry attended the second edition of Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF).

On Wednesday, Bollywood’s Ranbir Kapoor and Pakistan’s superstar Mahira Khan stole the limelight at the festival.

Later, during a freewheeling chat at the Saudi Festival, Ranbir Kapoor talked about his early days as an actor, tasting success as well as experiencing failure, and his latest role as a father.

During the chat session, a Pakistani fan asked if Kapoor would work with Pakistani actors and filmmakers.

To which Ranbir said, “Art knows no borders and I definitely would. In fact, I would like to congratulate Pakistani cinema on the huge success of [The Legend of] Maula Jatt”.

Bilal Lashari’s mega film “The Legend of Maula Jatt” became one of the greatest films in the history of Pakistani cinema and entered the 200 Crore club globally.
