ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) has observed that the number of covid-19 patients has increased in last 24 hours and the data indicated that the rate has climbed by 6.3%.
Pakistan has reported 448,552 cases so far in the second wave of coronavirus, although the under treatment cases have been dropped as 7, 993 recoveries have taken place recently.
Overall, around 396,591 people have recovered according to the government’s data.
The number of deaths has boosted to 9,080. Nonetheless, 990 people have died within 16 days.
Due to the current condition, on 9th December, the federal government had warned people that not following the covid-19 SOP’s would lead to shutting down of more public spaces.
The NCOC chief and Federal Minister of Planning and Development Asad Umar said that the cases were rapidly increasing as compared to the first wave. People tended to be more cautious during the initial days of Covid-19 than these days.
