Following uncertainty over the government’s decision to cancel all board exams due to the coronavirus pandemic, Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood has assured that all queries will be addressed Monday.
In a tweet from his official Twitter account on Friday, the minister said exam cancelation was reluctantly taken in the greater interest of student health. He further said students who gave composite class 12 exams or hoped to do better in 12 compared to 11 or reappear have sought a variety of clarifications.
“We will answer all queries Monday,” the education minister assured.
The government declared Thursday that all educational institutions would remain closed until July 15. The Government also declared the cancelation of all board exams across the country.
Mahmood said the students will now be tested in board exams on their previous results. Students took to social media after this decision and shared their frustration.
