KARACHI: The Commander of Pakistan Fleet Rear Admiral Naveed Ashraf briefed about the Naval Exercise ‘AMAN-21’ at Pakistan Navy Fleet Headquarters in Karachi.
According to the details provided by Naveed Ashraf, Pakistan Navy is conducting exercise Aman-21 along with a slogan ‘Together for Peace’ to display the peaceful image of Pakistan.
“The exercise contributes towards regional peace and stability, resolve against terrorism in maritime domain, collaboration to maintain safe and sustainable maritime realm and above all enhance interoperability between regional and extra regional navies,” states a press release.
Moreover, the exercise would be conducted in two phases: harbor and sea. The harbor phase includes seminars, discussions, demonstrations and international get-togethers. The sea phase would have tactical maneuvers on anti-piracy, counter terrorism, gunnery firing and search and rescue.
Around 45 countries will be participating in the naval exercise ‘AMAN-21’.
