SWAT: Truth about death of a Frontier Corps (FC) man has surfaced after Swat police launched an investigation into the alleged attack of terrorists on FC check-post.

Swat police revealed that the FC official was mistakenly killed by his own commander.

Police sources said a complaint was filed with them on July 15 at 3:30 am that an FC official Muhammed Kabir who was posted at Biyakand check-post was killed in exchange of fire with terrorists. Upon which, an FIR was registered against unknown  persons at Matta police station.

District Police Officer Qasim Ali Khan launched an investigation into the incident and during interrogation from FC commander Usman Ghani it was revealed that the security official was killed by his own commander.

Usman Ghani admitted that he was sleeping at the check-post when he dreamt of having an attack on them so he opened his eyes half-sleepy and started firing in panic until he knew that he had killed his own subordinate.

Police said further investigation was underway into the matter.
