Cold weather continues to prevail in most parts of country

During the next twelve hours, cold and dry weather is expected to grip in most parts of the country.

However, rain and snowfall is expected at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan’s isolated places in upper hilly areas.

Blanket of fog is likely to prevail in Punjab’s plain areas and districts of upper Sindh during morning and night hours.

According to reports, following temperature of some major cities of Pakistan was recorded this morning:           

Islamabad two degree centigrade, Lahore eight, Karachi fifteen, Peshawar six, Quetta and Gilgit minus-one, Murree minus-three and Muzaffarabad  one degree centigrade.
