COAS Gen Asim Munir meets Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman

Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir on Monday met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman during his visit to the Kingdom.
COAS General Syed Asim Munir is on a week-long official visit to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the first time after assuming the office of Pakistan’s army chief.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, Prince Mohammed bin Salman today (Monday) welcomed the Army Chief Gen Asim Munir in the winter camp set up in Al-Ula area of Madinah.
The state news agency reported that the reception was also attended by Saudi Arabia’s Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman and National Security Adviser Dr Musaed bin Muhammad al Aiban.
The two leaders “reviewed bilateral relations and the ways of enhancing them” during the meeting.
Earlier on January 5, COAS General Asim Munir met Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman to discuss ways to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
The two leaders discussed military and defense cooperation as well as ways to improve it and regional and global issues of mutual interest.
