RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday called on First Deputy Prime Minster and Defence Minister, Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
The army chief also met Prince Khalid Bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the deputy defence minister in Jeddah.
During the meetings, matters of mutual interest, regional security situation including recent developments in the Afghan Peace Process, bilateral defence, security and collaboration for regional peace and connectivity were discussed.
COAS Bajwa said that Pakistan was resolute in its commitment to safeguard the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and defence of the two Holy Mosques. The crown prince acknowledged Pakistan’s role towards regional peace and stability.
Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud also said that the relations between the KSA and Pakistan were based on bonds of brotherhood and mutual trust and both the nations would continue to play their part for peace, stability and betterment of Muslim Ummah.
