Compressed National Gas stations across Sindh will likely open at 10pm on Tuesday night, according to the Sui Southern Gas Company.
However, they will open for eight hours only after a 50-hour break.
The gas filling stations will be shut at 6am on Wednesday, an SSGC said in a statement.
The province is suffering a severe shortage of gas, with domestic consumers facing the most strain. The intervals of when the gas ceases in CNG stations have increased, making it an issue for people who use it in their vehicles or depend on transport-run gas.
For other consumers, it has become difficult to cook food or warm up water through geysers due to the low gas pressure at homes.
