CNG stations in Sindh closed again for 50 hours

CNG stations throughout Sindh will remain closed at 8 am on Sunday for the next 50 hours.

After more than three days, gas supply for vehicles was opened on Thursday night. The stations were packed with cars until midnight lining up outside them. People complained about low gas pressure, however.

“If the gas supply has been stopped, use of vehicles should also be stopped,” said a motorist.

The SSGC’s announcement that gas supply will be restored on Sunday is not an official one.

“The availability of CNG depends on the gas crisis,” said an official of the gas utility. “If it gets worse, supply will probably not be resumed,” he said.
