CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah warns of coronavirus threat worsening
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah’s shared a statement about the coronavirus situation on social media.
In the last 24 hours, we conducted 9100 tests, he said. The number is the highest we have recorded in the province. 2487 more cases have been added to this. The test result says that 27.3% of them are positive. This time around, we have conducted 255617 tests, he went on to say.
43790 cases were recorded in Sindh uptil now, and more than 42 patients died in the last 24 hours.
728 people have died uptil now, he said.
77 patients of the coronavirus were on vanity letters. At this moment, 22052 people have been infected. There are 48 patients in islolation centres. 1526 coronavirus patients have been sent to different hospitals.
As of today, 1111 patients returned after recovering, he added.
The number of patients who have recovered is 21007. There are more cases in Karachi – 2487 new cases have been reported across the province.
409 new cases have been reported in District East, 498 in South, and 443 in the central.
115 new cases appeared in Malir, 173 in District West, and 117 in Korangi. Hyderabad recorded 80, Ghotki recorded 40 and Larkana recorded 69. 29 new cases were reported in Sanghar, 37 in Sukkur, and 244 in Khairpur. 23 new cases were reported in Jamshoro and Dadu. 13 new cases came forward in Kashmir, 22 in Shikarpur, and 17 in Mirpur.
9 new cases were reported in Thatta, Tharparkar, Umerkot and Qambar recorded 12.
8 were recorded in Jacobabad, 4 cases appeared in Tando Allahyar.
80 were recorded in Hyderabad, 40 in Ghotki and 69 in Larkana.
29 cases were reported in Sanghar, 37 in Sukkur and Khairpur.
“We are approaching a dangerous situation”, he said. “If there are no processes to stop the virus, cases will exceed by 27%,” he added.
