LAHORE: The chief minister of Punjab, Usman Buzdar has quarantined himself after contracting the novel Coronavirus.
Due to the acute medical condition, doctors have advised the CM to be completely on rest and for this reason Usman Buzdar has cancelled all of his scheduled meetings and has taken off from his work.
Meanwhile, many politicians have been tested positive for COVID-19 such as the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI)’s Asad Umar and Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)’s Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Saeed Ghani, and Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah.
Around 458,968 cases have been reported and 9,000 lives have been lost in Pakistan so far due to the novel coronavirus.
