CM Parvez Elahi will be de-notified today: Rana Sanaullah

Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that Governor Punjab Balighur Rehman will denotify CM Parvez Elahi today as he failed to take the vote of confidence from the House.
In a conversation with media persons in Lahore, Sanaullah said that the Punjab Governor has constitutional authority to ask the chief minister for a vote of confidence from the assembly.
“If the Chief Minister fails to take the vote of confidence, he cannot continue to the post,” he added.
He furthered that CM Elahi has constitutionally no right to continue as he evaded trust vote orders by Governor Punjab.
“Constitutional proceedings will be initiated after the order is issued by the Governor,” Sanaullah said.
On the other hand, Chairman Imran Khan will announce his next plan of action in an important address to ‘huge’ demonstration outside Punjab Governor’s House today (Thursday) at 5pm.
PTI Focal Person for Economy Hammad Azhar said that the party would hold a “huge” demonstration outside Punjab Governor’s House record its protest.
“No one will be allowed to take unconstitutional measures and people will show themselves what they want,” Azhar said.
