 CM Parvez Elahi vows to back ‘all decisions’ of Imran Khan

Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has vowed to back “all decisions” of PTI Chairman Imran Khan as the former prime minister is all set to dissolve Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies.

CM Parvez Elahi, PML-Q leaders Moonis Elahi and Hussain Elahi met Imran Khan at his Zaman Park’s residence in Lahore ahead of Imran’s announcement to dissolve Punjab and KP assemblies.

Following the meeting, CM Punjab took to the Twitter and wrote: “I will support all of Imran Khan’s decisions. I owed the Punjab Assembly to Imran Khan and I have returned my debt to him. Imran has made his political opponents zero.”

عمران خان کے ہر فیصلے کا ساتھ دیں گے۔ پنجاب اسمبلی عمران خان کی امانت ہے اور یہ امانت انہیں واپس کر دی ہے۔ عمران خان نےمخالفین کی سیاست کو زیرو کر دیا ہے۔ افواہیں پھیلانے والے پہلے کی طرح اب بھی ناکام رہیں گے۔

On the other hand, Imran Khan stressed that the PML-Q is an ally of PTI and invited the PML-Q leaders to sit with him in Liberty Chowk public gathering.

Earlier today, PML-N lawmakers has decided to move a no-confidence motion against Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and Speaker Punjab Assembly Sibtain Khan

PML-N’s 180 members of provincial assembly gathered at the residence of party leader Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan to discuss the move and also signed the no-trust motion, sources said.

It should be noted that, PTI Chairman Imran Khan will announce the date for dissolving the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) assemblies’ today (December 17) while addressing a Jalsa via video link at Liberty Chowk in Lahore.
