Claims of Sindh govt, local bodies remain unsubstantiated
Karachi: After heavy rains in Shahar-e-Qaeda, water is still available on major highways, claims of Sindh government and local bodies remained unsubstantiated.
According to the details, despite the rain emergency, the staff is missing from the main highways, while drainage could not be done on the highways of Central District. Water is still accumulated on the roads in Five Star Chowrangi, Landi Kotal, Haideri, and other areas.
Due to the accumulation of water, the flow of traffic is also severely affected. On the other hand, after the rains, the power system in the city was disrupted.
Power could not be restored due to the accumulation of water in various places. K Electric started shutting down power without informing the consumers.
Areas of Karachi Orangi, Manghopir, North Karachi, Gulberg, Khwaja Ajmer Nagri, Musa Colony, Gharibabad, Banaras, Sarjani, Tesser Town, Kathor, Gulshan-e-Maymar, Ahsanabad, Sohrab Goth, Azizabad, FB Area and Korangi. Power supply to the areas has also been suspended.
