CJP took suo moto notice of the constitutional crisis in the country

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Umar Ata Bandial has taken suo motu notice of the constitutional crisis arising out of the rejection of the no-confidence motion of united opposition by Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri.
The Registrar of the Supreme Court has confirmed that the Chief Justice of Pakistan has taken suo motu notice of the political situation in the country.
Sources said that a larger bench of the Supreme Court will hear the case but the judges in the bench will be informed later.
Attorney General Barrister Khalid Javed Khan has reached the Supreme Court after meeting former Minister of Law Fawad Chaudhry and while talking to media, he said that the decision of the Supreme Court would be final.
