Civilian martyred in Indian unprovoked firing on LOC

A civilian was martyred and three others were injured in an unprovoked firing by the Indian Army on the Line of Control. Two women were also injured.

According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), in violation of the ceasefire by India, the Indian Army opened unprovoked fire on the Line of Control, killing a civilian and injuring three others.

According to the spokesperson, the Indian Army targeted the civilian population in Rakh Chakri and Khanjar sectors. Mortar shells and rockets were used by the Indian Army. Indian check posts were targeted in the retaliatory action of Pakistan Army on Indian firing.

It is to be noted that Pakistan had summoned a senior Indian official stationed in Islamabad to protest against the continuous violation of the ceasefire agreement by India.
