Citizens over 60 with disability to get Covid-19 vaccination facility at home

LAHORE: The Punjab Health Minister, Dr Yasmin Rashid has announced that people aged 60-years or above will be vaccinated at home, in Punjab.
The service is only restricted to the elderly citizens with any type of disability.
According to a statement issued on Thursday, people who who are differently able and cannot afford movements to acquire covid-19 vaccination can get information from 1033 for home services.
For the home vaccination services, a doctor, a vaccinator and one ambulance has been assigned to carry out this duty, said Dr Yasmin.
The arrangements will be made by the Punjab primary and secondary healthcare department.
Moreover, the death toll in Punjab due to covid-19 has been reached to 7,799.
