A citizen has exposed profiteering of vegetable retailers in Karachi by showing how cheaply veggies are available in the wholesale market at New Sabzi Mandi in suburban area of the metropolis.

Two bunches of coriander leaves are sold for Rs1 in the wholesale market, while one bunch of coriander leaves is being sold for Rs10/ 20. One kilogram cucumber in the wholesale market is for Rs40, while retailers are selling it for Rs80/100 in the city, and so forth.
