Christmas in a pandemic

 Christmas in a pandemic

2020 has been a nightmare for most people and thankfully it has reached its ending. The most magical time of the year is here and all over the world Christmas was celebrated yesterday but in a different way.

The novel coronavirus has put the whole world at a halt, restricting everybody to celebrate it as usual. Although, Christmas was celebrated as much as possible in these tough times. The magic of this Christmas was seen in a very different manner.

Santa this time was in his own bubble.
Children had to tell their wishes through a window instead of sitting on Santa’s lap and listing their wishes
It was a dinner on a group video call
The malls had plenty of lights but no public to entertain
Patients having their thanks giving dinner in hospitals
some had to celebrate it alone in isolation

This Christmas was tough as seen in the above pictures but as the year has gone by we wish the next year has some prosperity in it for everybody.
