Christian community celebrates Christmas across Pakistan
The Christian community across Pakistan, just as other parts of the world is celebrating the festive occasion of Christmas with religious fervor.
The day started with special prayers in churches across the country with the Christian community also holding special prayers for the solidarity and prosperity of Pakistan.
Christmas is observed in Pakistan and across the world on December 25th each year to mark the birth of Jesus Christ.
Christian citizens decorated their homes and churches with colourful fairy lights and special Christmas trees were prepared to celebrate the occasion.
President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended sincere and invaluable services rendered by Christians in the fields of defence, education, health as well as economic development of the country.
