 China unveils fastest car with speed of 100kmp/h in 3sec

Chinese company, Lap Motor has introduced the C01 electric vehicle which claimed to be able to travel at a speed of 100kmp/h in just 3 seconds.

The purpose of introducing the C01 electric vehicle is to beat Tesla’s Model S in China.

Lap Motor has been trying to enter this field for some years and its new car engine provides 542 horsepower.

The sedan is powered by a 90 kWh battery and the company claims that on a single charge it can cover a distance of 717 kms (depending on the variant).

The car will be available in 5 variants, the base model of which will be able to cover a distance of 500 km on a single charge.

The company has not yet said what the battery power will be in different variant of vehicles.

Inside the car there are three large screens, one used as a driver’s display, the other for infotainment and the third for passenger seat entertainment.
