China has signed a treaty with the UN to control the flow of arms and ammunition in disputed areas.
In 2013, the treaty requires that all its members should keep an accountability and record of the transmission of weapons across borders. UN ambassador of China Zhang Jun has said that Beijing would only trade in weapons with sovereign states, and not with non-sovereign states,
However, Trump has denied to accept the treaty. Moreover, he said that he will reverse the acceptance of the treaty, made by his forerunner Barack Obama.
