China will send the first shipment of supplies to Karachi on Monday to help Pakistan handle the locust disaster.
The first batch to be dispatched will consist of 50,000 liters of pesticides and 14 high-efficiency, air-powered remote sprayers.
An expert group from China that has already visited the provinces of Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab has said that spraying of chemical pesticides and biological pesticides is more beneficial in the current large-scale outbreak of the locust disaster in Pakistan.
The experts suggest locusts in Balochistan will be eradicated in the next few weeks.
