China sends team of medical staff, aid to Pakistan
On Saturday, an additional team of Chinese doctors arrived at Islamabad International Airport. They even gave them medical assistance.
Joint Chief of Staff Committee Chairman General Nadeem Raza had invited the doctors.
The team has experience in dealing with patients affected by the novel coroanavirus, according to the ISPR. The doctors will spend the next two months in the region.
They will also examine Pakistan’s medical facilities, and advise front line doctors and paramedics.
The Pakistan Army said this assistance from China was proof of the close ties between the two countries during difficult times, and their support for each other.
