China expresses concern about occupied Kashmir issue at UNSC

NEW YORK: At the closed session of the United Nations Security Council in New York, China expressed its serious concerns over the deteriorating situation in Indian occupied Kashmir.

China noted that in foreign minister’s of Pakistan letter to the Security Council to take action against the disturbing development across Line of Control (LoC) which creates threat to peace and security.
Which include more than three thousand ceasefire violations, targeting of 300 civilians including children and women, partial removal of the fence of the LoC by India in five sectors, deployment of the Brahmos Missile and Spike Missile for use across the LoC and conduct of numerous missile tests since August.

The Chinese side hoped that as soon as possible, the United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan would provide the council with comprehensive reports on the situation along the LoC.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan said that from more than four mouths the occupied Kashmir is facing severe military siege and communication.
He added, India’s recent aggression along Line of Control (LoC) posses great threat to the peach and security of the region.
