China calls back Chinese Teachers of Confucius Institute KU

China has recalled instructors teaching at the Confucius Institute of the University of Karachi, who left for their country, weeks after the Karachi blast resulted in the death of three Chinese nationals.
According to Dr. Nasir, the director of Confucius Institute, Confucius Institute teachers from other cities of the country have also been recalled.
He said the Confucius Institute would not be closed, Pakistani teachers were being hired to teach Chinese and online classes, examinations were being considered.
He further said that about 500 students are studying in Confucius Institute.
Last month a female suicide bomber killed four people, including three Chinese nationals, in an attack on a minibus carrying staff from a Beijing cultural programme at Karachi University.
