China builds hospital in 10 days for treatment of coronavirus patients

BEIJING: In China, first hospital built in record ten days’ time for treatment of coronavirus infected patients is being opened in Wuhan on Monday.
The two hospitals have been built in extraordinary quick timeframes and each hospital has 1000 beds facility.
Meanwhile, death toll from Coronavirus in China has risen to 360 surpassing the number of fatalities of SARS crisis two decades ago.
The World Health Organization has declared the crisis a global health emergency, and the first foreign death from the virus has been reported in the Philippines.
In Wuhan, the government has been racing to build two new hospitals in extraordinarily quick timeframes.

The first of those was opened on Monday, just 10 days after construction began.

The assistance includes technical guidance, tools for screening along with laboratory support and management of noval coronavirus cases at federal and provincial levels.
According to WHO, it has also provided Infrared thermo guns which measure temperature without touching the person to identify suspected cases of coronavirus.
The WHO Representative in Pakistan, Dr Palitha Mahipala said the organization was committed to continuously support the government in responding to this public health emergency of international concern.
