China bans entry of PIA flights for three weeks

KARACHI: China has imposed a restriction on PIA flights and entry of Pakistanis for three weeks as 10 Pakistani passengers tested covid-19 positive lately.

According PIA spokesperson Abdullah Hafeez, the PIA had suspended its flights scheduled for China.

Moreover, the Pakistani passengers who travelled to China were tested negative prior to the departure, however, they tested positive on the arrival, the spokesman further added.

On the contrary, China has reported the highest number of Covid-19 cases on daily bases, as per the official data on Friday.
