Beijing has acknowledged Islamabad’s support for China against the outbreak of COVID-19.
At yesterday’s daily news briefing in Beijing, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang said a Pakistani special transportation plane arrived in China on February 1st.
They sent vital medical supplies during the time when China’s medical supplies were most scarce.
He said the Chinese government immediately supported Pakistan with supplies such as testing reagents, gloves, protective equipment.
He added that they would actively support the Pakistani side in building an independent hospital, after the outbreak in Pakistan.
