Children’s Cancer and Breast Cancer Awareness Days will be commemorated in PSL 7

Pakistan Cricket Board has announced to celebrate Children’s Cancer and Breast Cancer Awareness Day in Pakistan Super League-7. The event will be played at the National Stadium Karachi and Gaddafi Stadium Lahore from January 27 to February 27.
Pink Ribbon Day will be celebrated on February 4 at the National Stadium Karachi on the occasion of Breast Cancer Awareness. The teams of Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi will compete on this day while the players of both the teams will wear pink hats on this day.
Similarly, Golden Ribbon Day will be celebrated on February 15 at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, where teams of Peshawar Zalmai and Quetta Gladiators will compete. On this day 2 children suffering from cancer will be given signed shirts of Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmai as gifts.
Stumps at National Stadium Karachi will be painted pink on Pink Day and stamps at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on Golden Ribbon Day will be painted golden.
On both days, awareness messages will be broadcast on big screens in the stadium, while commentators will also discuss the occasion during the commentary.
Chief Operating Officer PCB Salman Naseer said that Pakistan Super League is one of the most popular leagues in the world, so we will provide information regarding children’s cancer and breast cancer in PSL 7 as our social responsibility.
Salman Naseer added that cricket is the most popular sport of this country which unites the whole nation. He said that PCB would continue to take such steps in future also.
