Child killed in attack on Independence Day stall in Quetta

QUETTA: A child was killed in an attack on a stall set up to sell items related to the Independence Day on Brewery Road in Quetta on Wednesday night.

Two assailants arrived on a bike and hurled a grenade attack on the stall outside a shop in Quetta which left one child dead and six people wounded. The injured and dead were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment and autopsy respectively.

Body of the kid was handed over to his family after conducting medico-legal formalities. The law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and launched a search operation against the suspects. The bomb disposal squad also arrived to collect evidence from site of the incident.
