The counsel, Amjad Pervez, has told the court that the health of Nawaz is still not back to normal, and that he is still being treated. The second he is fit again, the lawyer said, he will return to Pakistan to face the cases against him.
The court approved the appeal for exemption, and adjourned the hearing until 28 February. It has also prolonged Nawaz’s nephew Yousaf Abbas’ judicial remand.
