Channelizing philanthropic efforts for welfare of needy: President Alvi

President Dr Arif Alvi stressed the need to better channelize people’s philanthropic efforts for welfare.

He said this while chairing a presentation given in Islamabad by managing director Pakistan Bait ul Maal, Aun Abbas Bappi.

In appreciation of the tremendous philanthropic work being carried out in Pakistan, the President stressed the need to strengthen efforts to protect and care for orphans and people with disabilities and empower women, particularly in the former FATA.

The President also launched the mobile app for people with disabilities in Pakistan Bait ul Maal.
