KARACHI: Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani called on Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan’s leadership in Karachi and discussed matters pertaining to current political situation.
The chairman Senate on this occasion said that he was ready to meet anybody and to go everywhere in the interest of the country.
He assured that the Federal Government’s Committee, formed to address reservations of allies, was working to resolve the issues raised by the MQM-P leadership.
MQM-P’s Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said his party was working for the resolution of the problems being faced by the people of Karachi.
On Jan 14, Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan had said all allied parties (including the MQM-P) under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan were united on the national agenda of the country’s development and public welfare.
In a series of tweets, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan had said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would safeguard national interests at every front with unity and integrity.
The special assistant had said the process of prosperity of the country and the nation under the leadership of the prime minister would move forward with full force.
She had said the foreign minister’s visits to Iran and Saudi Arabia under the direction of the PM had brought positive effects. She had said instead of being a silent spectator, Pakistan played a constructive role in the interest of Muslim Ummah and peace.
