The central OPD service was started after 5 months in the largest PIMS hospital in Islamabad.

Outpatient departments have been restored in Islamabad’s Pims Hospital after 5 months. The administration says that the situation has returned to normal in many areas, but the patients and their families are also urged to abide by the SOPs.

Spokesperson of PIMS Hospital Dr. Waseem Khawaja said that children’s OPD has been opened and burn center including gynecology ward has also been opened for patients.

He said patients should not bring too many people with them and keep a distance of 6 feet in the hospital.

Patients say they come here from far away and therefore have a large number of people with them.
