KARACHI: Surveillance camera footage of the blast that took place near Maskan Chowrangi in Karachi has surfaced.
The intensity of the blast can be gauged through the fact that the building’s strong pillars also fell apart with it, which can be seen in the video.
The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) has issued a clearance certificate for the blast that took place on Oct 21 in Gulshan e Iqbal, Block 7, Karachi. The BDS said that the explosion took place because of gas leakage. However, sources said that they were still not sure if it really happened because of gas leakage or something else.
At least five people were killed and 23 others got injured in the blast. The wounded were immediately rushed to hospital for treatment. Six injured were in critical condition.
