CCTV footage of Karachi Boulton Market Blast emerges

CCTV footage of the Karachi blast in Boulton Market area has emerged which showed a powerful explosion near a police mobile van.
According to the CCTV video received by Dialogue Pakistan, the blast took place at 9:16 PM. In the CCTV video, a fire ball can be seen after the explosion.
CCTV footage shows a stampede following the blast.
A blast ripped through Karachi’s crowded Bolton Market in Kharadar on Monday evening, leaving one woman dead and nearly a dozen people, including three police officers wounded.
An improvised explosive device (IED) was planted in a motorcycle. The police mobile of Kharadar police station was destroyed in the blast.
The deceased woman was travelling in a rickshaw with her child when the blast occurred, the police said, adding that all the injured had been shifted to a nearby hospital.
Officials said that a police mobile was targeted in the blast. Three personnel including ASI were injured in the blast. The driver of the police mobile remained safe.
Talking to media, Deputy Inspector-General (DIG) South DIG Sharjeel Kharal said he had a conversation with the driver of the vehicle, who escaped the blast unscathed and he confirmed that the bomb detonated as the mobile reached the point.
